Usually when we think of San Francisco or the Golden Gate Bridge we think fog and gloom. However, on this occasion for Claire and Chris's engagement session we had a beautiful clear day until the very end. But don't let the sunshine deceive you—it was chilly and windy.
Chris and Claire love Marin and the beautiful landscapes it has to offer. So, we started their engagement session in Cavallo Point just so we could get the pretty photo of the Golden Gate bridge in the background without the crowds. Then we finished off in Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands.
Not every photographer will admit it, but meeting a new couple can be a little nerve-wracking. Will they like me? Will we click? Will they be nice? As soon as I met both Chris and Claire I felt at ease and right off the bat I knew it would be a great day spent with them. And it was. We went with the flow, posed a little in a way that felt natural and I watched Chris get giddy every time he held Claire in his arms or looked at her. It was so sweet.
I've said this many times before, but I am the luckiest person with the coolest and sweetest clients. Cannot wait to document their big day next summer!
