My love for photography began with some old faded photographs that were passed onto my mother (true story). Photos of my grandmother at a young age, my relatives as teens. Photos that have kept my family's legacy alive and are more than just a visual record from the past; relics that have given my life meaning and a sense of connection.
Something I feel honored to give others to pass on to their future generations.
WHAT INSPIRES ME
Yes, I love pretty light, and beautiful settings (who doesn’t?). However, the process of observing life unfold before me and photographing it, that is what I love most. That rush of adrenaline that swells up through my chest when I see a meaningful moment—that is what steers me.
I'm inspired by the unspoken love between people. The laugh-at-the-top-of-your-lungs stories that move you. All the moments that pull your heartstrings to remind you how lucky it feels to be alive that instant.
AT MY CORE
I was born in Jalisco, Mexico and raised in Northern California. I am a sentimental and an empath at heart. When not working behind the camera, I’m chasing my nephew + niece around, on a hike somewhere, reading one of the 5 books in my rotation, or playing Beyonce on repeat. Also an ambivert (equally introverted + extroverted) who’ll NEVER shy away from dancing my heart out on the dance floor.
Currently living in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. Always willing to travel for photos.
